Jiyun Kim Founder & Strategic Lead
With over 10 years of experience in digital marketing and cross-border content strategy, Jiyun has worked across in-house teams, digital agencies, and global content ecosystems. Throughout her career, she has led marketing projects, worked closely with sales teams, and supported organisations navigating complex digital environments across international markets.
Having worked both in-house and within agency environments, Jiyun understands the internal challenges marketing teams face — from aligning with sales objectives to navigating resource constraints — while bringing the strategic perspective and specialised expertise of an external partner.
Over the years, she observed that many organisations struggle to enter new markets simply because they lack local insight. Differences in language, culture, digital platforms, and audience behaviour often make marketing execution difficult, or prevent teams from launching initiatives altogether.
Jiyun founded Drift Marketing to help bridge this gap, combining digital marketing strategy with localisation expertise and regional market insight. Through collaboration with specialists across APAC, Drift Marketing supports organisations navigating unfamiliar digital ecosystems and building strategies grounded in real market understanding.
